Vianoce v meste spestria dve vyzdobené električky (+ foto)

Ulicami hlavného mesta začala dnes o 16.00 h premávať Vianočná električka. Počas najbližších dvoch víkendov sa k nej pripojí aj Adventná električka, ktorá cestujúcich zvezie historickým vozidlom.

"Verím, že električky prispejú k tomu, aby atmosféra Vianoc ako sviatkov pokoja zavládla nielen v teple domovov, ale aj medzi ľuďmi, ktorí sa stretávajú napríklad v preplnenej mestskej hromadnej doprave," uviedol pred prvou tohtoročnou jazdou Vianočnej električky generálny riaditeľ Dopravného podniku Bratislava (DPB) Milan Urban.
      Vianočná električka bude jazdiť oddnes až do 30. decembra, s výnimkou 24. a 25. decembra, vždy od 16.00 h do 20.00 h, v hodinových intervaloch. Prechádzať bude širším centrom, na trase SND (Jesenského)-Námestie SNP-Obchodná-Radlinského-Vazovova-Špitálska-Námestie SNP-Tunel-Most SNP-SND (Jesenského). Všetci cestujúci sa budú môcť zviezť zadarmo. Keďže prvá jazda v tomto roku pripadla na 6. decembra, medzi jej pasažiermi nebude chýbať ani Mikuláš, anjel a čert.
      Oproti minulému roku električka omladla. Pôvodné vozidlo typu ČKD-Tatra T2 nahradila štvornápravovová električka T6A5 z roku 1991. Tohtoročnou novinkou bude aj vyzdobený interiér. Električku osvetlili 3120 žiarovkami, ktoré visia na 26 svetelných reťaziach dlhých 702 metrov.
      Adventná električka bude premávať po tej istej trase ako Vianočná električka. Cestujúci sa ňou môžu zviesť najbližší a posledný predvianočný víkend od 10.00 do 15.00 h. Aj tieto jazdy sú bezplatné.
      Vo vozidlách budú znieť vianočné koledy, na zvedavé otázky o histórii vozidiel a električiek v Bratislave budú odpovedať profesionálni sprievodcovia.
