Ubytovňa pre utečencov v Bergu je zatvorená

Ubytovňa pre utečencov na hranici medzi Slovenskom a Rakúskom je zatvorená. TASR to dnes potvrdil starosta rakúskej prihraničnej obce Berg Georg Hartl.

"Tábor pre migrantov je v súčasnosti zatvorený, nie však zrušený. Udržiavame ho naďalej a budeme sledovať celkovú situáciu ohľadom utečeneckej krízy, potom sa rozhodne, čo bude ďalej," uviedol Hartl.
      Ubytovacie zariadenie pre utečencov zatvorili 5. decembra 2016. Dôvodom bol fakt, že počet migrantov v Rakúsku sa v minulom roku znížil. Majiteľ ubytovne v Bergu chcel počet ubytovaných migrantov znížiť na 30, v tom prípade by však stratil pomoc od obce.
      "Správca zariadenia bol jednoznačne informovaný, že obec bude súhlasiť len s plne funkčnou prevádzkou alebo zatvorením tábora," spresnil vicestarosta Bergu Andreas Hammer s tým, že v súčasnosti v zariadení vykonávajú len upratovacie práce a údržbu.
      Unimobunky pre utečencov v Bergu postavili v auguste 2015. Vyvolali reakcie na obidvoch stranách hraníc, obavy sa však podľa starostov rakúskych prihraničných obcí nenaplnili. Podľa pôvodných predpokladov nemalo byť núdzové ubytovanie na hraničnom území k dispozícii dlhšie než tri roky, očakáva sa totiž postupný pokles azylantov.
