Členom komisie sa rozpočet nepozdával prevažne kvôli nedostatkom v oblasti verejnej dopravy, nedostatočného financovania cyklotrás, nejasného financovania Dopravného podniku Bratislavy po zavedení integrovanej dopravy, či nedostatočnej pripravenosti na čerpanie zdrojov z EÚ nasledujúcich rokoch.
„Dostali sme do rúk materiál, ktorý vyčleňuje 0 EUR na preferenciu verejnej dopravy. Pod pojmom preferencia verejnej dopravy rozumieme napríklad pruhy vyhradené pre autobusy alebo fungovanie semaforov tak, aby električky mali prednosť,“ hovorí predseda komisie Jozef Uhler (Pravicový klub). Návrh rozpočtu podľa neho nenapĺňa prezentovanú ambíciu hlavného mesta, že pôjde o rozvojový rozpočet. Tiež podľa Uhlera nepočíta ani s vybudovaním trolejbusovej trate z Patrónky do Karlovej Vsi. Bratislavské mestské zastupiteľstvo pritom trať zaradilo medzi svoje priority v oblasti dopravnej infraštruktúry.
Členov komisie podľa Uhlera zarazil aj fakt, že mesto napriek sľubom primátora a vedenia magistrátu nedostatočne finančne pokrýva cyklistickú dopravu. „Prioritou mesta je spájanie mestských častí cyklotrasami, ale mesto nemá snahu ani len pripraviť projekty pre takéto cyklotrasy,“ pokračuje Uhler.
Ako dodáva, sami vidíme, že sa nepodarilo celkom dobre spustiť integrovaný dopravný systém a mesto na ňom prerába. Aj z návrhu rozpočtu podľa neho vidieť, že mesto kryje úbytok tržieb 3 miliónmi EUR a pritom nie je jasné, koľko z tejto sumy zostane v rozpočte DPB a koľko pôjde iným prepravcom, ktorými sú napríklad SlovakLines alebo ŽSSK.
Predseda komisie Uhler na záver dodáva, že okrem už spomínaných dôvodov, komisia neodporučila rokovať aj rozpočte aj z dôvodu chýbajúcich prostriedkov na rozvojové projekty v oblasti dopravy. „Nie je tam nič, akoby sa v tomto meste na budúci rok nič neplánovalo vyčerpať z niektorých fondov EÚ. Bratislava pritom môže čerpať z balíka 124 miliónov EUR vyčlenených v rámci IROPu, teda z peňazí určených pre územie Bratislavy a obcí v okolitých okresoch,“ povedal.
