OLO uvažuje, ako využiť v budúcnosti paru zo spaľovne odpadu

Bratislavská mestská spoločnosť Odvoz a likvidácia odpadu (OLO) hľadá riešenie, ako v budúcnosti využiť paru z jej spaľovne odpadu.

Prostredníctvom pary je totiž možné vykurovať obytné zóny, upravovať odpad či robiť z nej ľadové plochy. "Existuje veľa možností. Alternatívy sa momentálne vyhodnocujú," povedal generálny riaditeľ OLO Branislav Cimerman s tým, že v tomto roku by sa malo ukázať, akou cestou sa chce Bratislava uberať.
      Konečné rozhodnutie bude podľa neho závisieť ale od mesta a mestských poslancov. "Ja si nemyslím, že je potreba stavať novú spaľovňu, ale zefektívniť už existujúci proces," vysvetlil Cimerman. Otázka využitia pary je podľa jeho slov aktuálna aj preto, že v roku 2017 končí OLO dotačný titul na energiu. "Ak chceme ďalej mať dotovanú energiu, tak to budeme musieť vyriešiť spôsobom, aby Úrad pre reguláciu sieťových odvetví uznal tento postup a aby sme spadli do takzvaného kvetu," vysvetlil.
      OLO na svojej webovej stránke uvádza, že pri zhodnocovaní odpadu v spaľovni sa vyrába teplo a elektrina. Teplo získané spálením odpadu sa využíva na výrobu pary. "Časť tepla vyrobeného pri spaľovaní odpadu sa využije pre vlastnú spotrebu technológie spaľovne – ohrev primárneho spaľovacieho vzduchu, ohrev a termické odplynenie napájacej vody, vykurovanie areálu spaľovne a zvyšok sa použije na výrobu elektriny," informuje spoločnosť. Časť elektriny vyrobenej pri spaľovaní odpadu je podľa OLO využitá pre pokrytie technologickej a netechnologickej vlastnej spotreby v areáli spaľovne a zvyšok je prostredníctvom podzemného káblového vedenia dodávaný do rozvodnej siete.
      "V súčasnosti je reálny priemerný ročný spaľovací výkon spaľovne, vzhľadom na množstvo komunálneho odpadu vyprodukovaného v meste, asi 124.000 ton odpadu," uvádza mestská spoločnosť.
