Aby jeho úteku zabránili, použili policajti zbrane a na vozidlo opakovane vystrelili. Osoba z vozidla po chvíli vystúpila a pokúsila sa o ďalší útek smerom na Pestovateľskú ulicu. Keďže ani počas prenasledovania nereagovala na výzvy policajtov, použili donucovacie prostriedky, až tak sa im podarilo osobu zadržať a odviesť na policajnú stanicu.
