uviedol bratislavský mestský poslanec za Petržalku Oliver Kríž, ktorý petíciu za obnovenie pôvodnej trasy linky č. 95 spustil začiatkom septembra. Jej trasa bola totiž po otvorení Starého mosta a novej električkovej trate do Petržalky skrátená v druhej polovici júla po Muchovo námestie. Ak chcú cestujúci pokračovať v ceste do centra mesta, musia prestúpiť na električku.
"V zbieraní podpisov pokračujeme do konca októbra. Momentálne by sme mali mať okolo 2500 alebo 2600 podpisov," povedal Kríž s tým, že mu zároveň Petržalčania posielajú množstvo e-mailov, v ktorých žiadajú obnovu trate autobusu do mesta, najmä do okolia divadla Malá scéna, Nového SND či nákupného centra, ktorí sem chodia predovšetkým do práce. Mnohí z nich, napríklad zo zastávok Budatínska, Šintavská či Smolenická, sa pýtajú, či je pokrokom, keď sa im cestovanie predĺži zo 17 na 40 minút. "Musia prestupovať trikrát, alebo sa v 99-ke krútiť po celej Petržalke asi 20 minút a potom prestúpiť na električku do mesta. Je to, prepáčte mi, atrapa na električkové spojenie," podotkla jedna z obyvateliek Petržalky.
Petíciou sa poslanec spolu s občanmi obracia na hlavné mesto, ako aj na Dopravný podnik Bratislava (DPB), aby požadovanú zmenu zabezpečili a to do doby, kým bude dokončená električková trať až po Janíkov dvor. "Pre tých, ktorí pokračujú električkou ďalej, napr. do Rače, je to možno logický krok. Ale pre tých, ktorí idú naozaj iba na Šafárikovo námestie, je to obrovská obštrukcia. Ak by električka premávala až od Janíkovho dvora, v tom prípade by to malo svoj zmysel a efekt," uviedol poslanec na margo skrátenia trate autobusovej linky v nadväznosti na nový prestupný bod na Farského, pričom poukazuje, že novému grafikonu linky nepredchádzala dostatočná diskusia s občanmi a cestujúcej verejnosti priniesol len množstvo finančných, praktických a logistických komplikácií.
Petičné hárky by mali byť začiatkom novembra skompletizované a najneskôr v polovici mesiaca odovzdané adresátom. Originál by malo dostať hlavné mesto, kópia poputuje do dopravného podniku. "Po doručení petície sa ňou bude mesto zaoberať štandardným spôsobom. Ak splní potrebné náležitosti, bude o nej rozhodovať mestské zastupiteľstvo," povedala pre TASR hovorkyňa mesta Ivana Skokanová. Zároveň podotkla, že po sprevádzkovaní električkovej trate do Petržalky sa zrušili súbežné linky práve z dôvodu, že práve preto sa budovala električková trať. "Aby sme preferovali ekologickejšiu formu dopravy a rýchlejšie spojenie centra mesta s Petržalkou. Na tento účel EÚ poskytla mestu financie na projekt Nosný systém (NS) MHD 1," doplnila Skokanová.
Hovorkyňa DPB Adriana Volfová v tejto súvislosti opätovne zdôraznila, že linka č. 95 nezanikla, len bola skrátená po prestupný uzol s električkovou dopravou, teda zastávku Farského. "Dopravný podnik zabezpečil skrátenie linky tak, že všetky miesta sú obslúžené. Cestujúci tak po prestupoch využívajú kapacitnú električkovú dopravu v smere ďalej - do alebo z mesta," uviedla pre TASR Volfová. Na otázku, či je reálne, aby bola obnovená pôvodná trasa autobusu, odpovedala, že DPB zabezpečí dopravu v rozsahu, ako si objedná bratislavský magistrát.
Električka do Petržalky začala pravidelne premávať 8. júla. V súvislosti s jej spustením bola zrušená autobusová linka č. 82, ktorá zabezpečovala dopravnú obsluhu Divadla Aréna. Táto obsluha je po novom zabezpečená električkovou dopravou, konkrétne cez zastávku Sad J. Kráľa.
