Koncom októbra minulého roka sa dal námestník primátora Milan Černý, v rámci projektu revitalizácie predstaničného priestoru počuť, že sa čaká aj na výmenu nefunkčných eskalátorov, ktoré spájajú stanicu s električkovým obratiskom. „Spustili sme verejné obstarávanie pre eskalátory. Myslíme si, že v nasledujúcich mesiacoch bude dokončená aj táto etapa,“ povedal vtedy Černý.
Žiaľ, 12. februára tohto roka ešte eskalátory nefungovali a žiaden pohyb nenaznačoval, žeby sa niečo chystalo. Myslíme, si, že mesto malo od leta už dosť času nato, aby túto, takpovediac banalitu, vyriešilo. Riešenie pohyblivých schodov malo určite dostať prednosť pred opravou dreveného prístreška. Dokedy budú cestujúci ešte čakať a vláčiť ťažkú batožinu po schodoch? Vari môžu zato, že samospráva je v tomto ohľade byrokraticky pomalá?
