Na Veľtrhu ITF Slovakiatour očakáva Bratislavský samosprávny kraj aj hojnú účasť zástupcov regiónu, teda starostov a primátorov, ktorí sami budú návštevníkom prezentovať svoju lokálnu ponuku. Samotné mesto Bratislava pripravilo ukážu tradičného podujatia, Korunovačných slávností, ktoré každoročne do mesta prilákajú množstvo turistov.
Skvelú atmosféru zabezpečí multikultúrna kapela Pressburger Klezmer Band, swingová kapelka Funny Felows, unikátne saxfónové kvarteto Saxophone Syncopators, ale aj harfa, ktorá sa rozoznie pod rukami Michala Matejčíka.
„Medzinárodné veľtrhy sú pre kraj príležitosťou ukázať svoju ponuku nielen samotným turistom, ale aj podnikateľom v cestovnom ruchu. Možnosti regiónu sú bohaté a každý jeden návštevník dokáže toto posolstvo posunúť aj ďalším svojim známym. Štatistiky sa oklamať nedajú, bratislavský región má citeľný nárast turistov,“ povedal František Stano, vedúci Oddelenia cestovného ruchu BSK.
Veľtrh ITF Slovakiatour je najväčším veľtrhom cestovného ruchu na Slovensku a patrí medzi najvýznamnejšie podujatia v regióne strednej Európy. Veľtrh každoročne prináša komplexný servis pre ľudí, ktorí chcú cestovať do zahraničia alebo spoznávať krásy Slovenska. Prezentuje sa tu portfólio cestovných kancelárií, ako aj turistické informácie sprostredkované zahraničnými centrálami krajín. Stánok „Bratislava City and Region“ nájdete v hale B stred, číslo 100.
