O autorovi
Jozef Hajko (1962) po štúdiu na technickej univerzite v Bratislave pracoval najskôr vo svojom odbore, neskôr u neho prevážil záujem o písané slovo, ktorému sa začal venovať profesionálne. Na začiatku deväťdesiatich rokov pracoval ako redaktor vo vydavateľstve. Potom takmer desaťročie pôsobil ako novinár v TASR a neskôr v ekonomickom týždenníku TREND. Okrem novinárskych príspevkov najmä z oblasti ekonomiky sa autor podieľal na publikovaní viacerých štúdií. Dlhoročný záujem autora o históriu a literatúru faktu vyústil do vydania dvoch kníh Nezrelá republika. Slovensko v rokoch 1939 – 1945 (SLOVART, 2009) a Odsúdení na dohodu. Spoločné tisícročie Slovákov a Maďarov (SLOVART, 2011). Autor žije v Bratislave.
